It is amazing how considerably my 12 year old daughter knows about space. She told me what a Gamma Ray Blast is. Where could she have learned that? And are your young children interested in space and that stuff?

There’s a ton of information on astronomy online (and it really is a burst, not a blast). But see if you can encourage it – maybe get involved with a regional astronomy club or something. That is what I did at that age, and now I am getting my PhD in the field.

*cough* I am 15 years old. I discovered a lot by answering concerns on here and seeking up items I couldn’t answer.
