A team of scientists working with the CosmoQuest virtual study facility (CosmoQuest.org) has demonstrated that it is feasible for every day men and women to map the Moon with the exact same top quality as a group of experienced professionals.
These crowd-sourced outcomes are being published in the journal Icarus and highlight the ability of citizen scientists to advance planetary investigation. CosmoQuest is a second-generation citizen science website run out of the Southern Illinois University Edwardsville STEM Center by Assistant Study Professor Dr. Pamela L. Gay.

Hey my birthday is coming up at the end of april and i have been wanting to get a new telescope or a pair of astronomical binoculars. I already have a telescope. But its cheap and not very good.
I was wondreing what are the pros and cons of acquiring binculars vs a new telescope.
I love the porotbialitiy of the binuculars but i also adore seeing other planets as a teleescope would do.

Astronomy Magazine is nevertheless about, is not it? It really is the AAS publication, I think. Then there is the Planetary Society. Sky and Telescope also has present events.

Astronomy These days 7th Edition
Hello to all,
I’m not afraid to admit that I am passionate about science. I completely enjoy all sciences but planetary science and astronomy is by far my favourite. I honestly am so compelled about astronomy that I am willing to give up my pathway to becoming a physician to pursue a high degree involving astronomy.
Thanks to all.

Astronomy Concerns For Children
I completely really like physics, and space, so I figured that going into astronomy/astrophysics would be anything exciting. I’m not also certain what types of careers there could be (I am not actually seeking to be a teacher, because I am horrible at explaining things and would probable confuse students more than assist them.) Certainly I would like something that pays nicely, but I would like to have little ones 1 day and would like to be able to devote time with my family, and be capable to take care of my own little ones. I also have confidence problems, so I don’t know if I can handle function like that, simply because I feel I would just make so many mistakes or I will not know how to do one thing simply because I am also stupid. Any recommendations on what I could do? Or maybe any suggestions on what an alternate or comparable career would be a excellent fit for any Physics or Astrophysics stuff?
